Actual Policy Use
The FY 2001/2002 NHA demonstrated that the poor were benefiting more from rural health facilities. This reinforced the government policy of shifting allocations from hospitals to rural health facilities. These findings also informed the development of the 2003 Economic Recovery Strategy.
