Intended Policy Goals
Uganda is currently undertaking a second round of NHA with an RH subaccount. It is anticipated that policymakers will use the information collected during the NHA to determine how much is allocated to a given program/intervention in comparison to the disease burden and other national programs. The NHA will be used to inform planning, budgeting, forecasting, costing and the government’s 5-year health sector plan.
