USAID's Global Development Commons, an initiative that seeks to promote innovation within USAID and the greater development community to improve the accessibilility and affordability of information and knowledge, features Health Systems 20/20 GIS work in Yemen.
Geographic information systems tools and applications are used in Yemen to visually explore patterns in health indicators and identify service gaps related to staffing, drugs, equipment, infrastructure, underserved populations, and inaccessibility to health facilities, in order to prioritize resource allocations.
