5th National Health Accounts Symposium in Sweden
May 2 2007
The 5th NHA Symposium, a bi-annual international meeting of NHA practitioners, policy users, and supportive donors, took place July 6-7, 2007 in Lund, Sweden. As in past years, this event was carried out in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and its implementing agent, the Swedish Institute for Health Economics (IHE).
The Symposium is the only truly international venue for country sharing of lessons-learned across various regions, and for discussion of the latest methodological developments, policy uses, and future directions. Topics to be covered during the Symposium include the concept of NHA and its applications, the usefulness of NHA in policy work, the institutionalization of NHA, and the progress of NHA from regional and network representatives.
