Toolkit for Using Round 9 of the Global Fund for Health Systems Strengthening
Health Systems 20/20 and the Health Workforce Advocacy Initiative have teamed up to develop a toolkit of materials to assist Global Fund applicants to conceptualize and include cross-cutting health system strengthening components in Round 9 proposals. It includes information on addressing key constraints such as inadequate human resource management capacity and also contains information on community system strengthening.
Purpose: To help Global Fund applicants better understand how they can use the Global Fund to strengthen their health systems and what resources are available to support them in doing so. With an enhanced understanding of these possibilities, we hope that applicants will develop proposals for cross-cutting health systems strengthening interventions and meeting community needs to overcome AIDS, TB, and malaria.
