Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna
Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY) is a health insurance scheme that was launched on 1st April 2008 by India's Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE). The goal of RSBY is to provide health insurance coverage to individuals and households below-the-poverty-line (BPL). This guidebook provides an overview of RSBY, which plans to cover the entire BPL population in the country (approx 30 crore) by 2012-13.
