Health Systems 20/20 and the Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector project are conducting integrated health systems and private sector assessments in Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. The assessments identify opportunities for strengthening the capacity of these countries to effectively lead, finance, manage, and sustain the delivery of quality health services, including HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support.
Assessments contribute to the U.S.-Caribbean Regional HIV and AIDS Partnership Framework 2010-2014, which seeks to move the region toward greater sustainability of HIV/AIDS programs.
Health Systems 20/20 collaborated with the Pan American Health Organization, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the International Training and Education Center for Health, and the Caribbean HIV/AIDS Regional Training Network to complete these assessments.
